Afzal Ahmad

I am a first-year doctoral student at the Multi-Robot Systems lab in the Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic. I have been working on multi-robot, cooperative task planning for long-horizon tasks (multiple days). My broader research interests lie in multi-robot decision-making, especially in decentralized mechanisms, and in cooperative and non-cooperative Game Theory. Previously, I have worked on decentralized control for swarms and cooperation under limited information. My work is supervised by Dr. Martin Saska.

Before starting my doctoral studies, I worked at Fly4Future as a research engineer, where I developed mission-planning algorithms for searching large geographic areas using multiple UAVs. I have previous research experience working under Dr. Martin Saska at Multi-Robot Systems lab and Dr. Giovanni Beltrame at MIST lab, Polytechnique Montreal, Canada.

I have reviewed articles for RA-L, IROS, ICRA, and Bioinspiration & Biomimetics journal.
